Watch Out Athens!!

My not-so-baby cousin is going off to college today! And not just any college, she is going to UGA!!!! YAY!

I am so happy for Nancy I could burst! She is such a talented young lady and has SO much going for her. I just know that she is going to really find her place a UGA and soak in the memories. College is so special and holds such sweet times! And she is so smart, no problems with academics! In fact, she might just go to the head of the class (and we will celebrate by playing that board game!).

So here's to you, Nance! Your first day in Athens (as a resident that is). Spend every waking minute this week meeting new girls and getting your room all set up. Make sure your pencils are sharpened and your papers are organized and your lunch is packed (well, maybe not in college because if you whip a sandwich and capri sun out of your Hannah Montana lunch box you will not make any friends). You have everything you need to survive your first semester at school. Just have fun and study hard. Oh, and pray a lot! God is right there with you!
